Payroll Posting Change
You may have noticed you receive your direct deposit a day before you scheduled payday. We have been happy to provide this service to you over the years. Due to Federal Regulations however, we are not able to post direct deposit a day earlier than we receive it, as we have done in the past. This was because the credit union posted your payroll based on the settlement date, not the effective date. We have been proud to be the only financial institution in the area to provide this benefit.
No action is needed on your part. Your direct deposit will still be deposited into your account, but on your actual payday. For example, if you have been receiving your direct deposit on Thursday it will now post on Friday. This change will take effect December 1st, 2010.
